Future-proof for drinking water applications – WESA relies on CW510L
09.09.2026Requirements for materials used in drinking water applications are continuously evolving. In Germany in particular, important changes are approaching in view of the lower lead limit that will apply from 2028.
WESA responded at an early stage: Since 1 July 2026, all affected drinking water products – including customer-specific private-label products – have been supplied exclusively in the new CW510L alloy.
This means we are already providing a future-proof material basis today – also with regard to the further development of European requirements.
